The A.S.C. coaching staff is directed by Mrs. Susan Ovens. Susan was a national champion dance skater trained by the late great Al Thompson of Rollero roller rink in Phoenix, Arizona. She was national champion in the mid-seventies and early eighties. Following Susan's marriage to her husband Terry and the birth of her three lovely daughters, Susan returned to the sport she loved so much and began coaching in the Phoenix area.   Susan has trained skaters that have produced over 200 regional and national champions in Dance, Figures, and Freestyle within the short period of 13 years. It is through Susan's skating knowledge and leadership that the A.S.C. Saturday class program and competitive figure club has grown tremendously and is considered one of the finest on the west coast.   Please, we invite you to take the time to drop by and meet Susan personally. we are confident that you will find Susan to be warm, professional and extremely dedicated to the sport of roller skating within our community, our state, and the nation.

Cindy Landis joined the A.S.C. coaching staff for the 2010-2011 season relocating to Arizona from the Eastern Region. Cindy brings many years of coaching experience to the staff and is an excellent instructor.

Erin Scalzitti

Erin has National placements in many disciplines of skating and placements in team and solo dance at the World Championships. Erin has studied under top coaches from across the nation. Having competed at the World Championships in Germany in November, 2009 Erin is now teaching with her Mother here in Phoenix. Erin has competed as a member of Team USA at the World Championships in Rome, Taipai, Australia, Portugal, and Brazil.
